Op 14 mei hebben we 6 kaartjes gekocht voor een optreden van Marco Borsato in Vredenburg Utrecht. Raar, toen wist ik natuurlijk nog niet wat er aan de hand was terwijl ik er al wel mee rond liep. We zijn in 2008 in het Gelredome bij de show “Rood” geweest, en wilden dit feestje nog een keertje met elkaar meemaken. Vorige week twijfelde ik of ik het wel zou doen. Luister naar je lichaam heeft de hematoloog gezegd, maar ga niet over de top. Donderdag rustig aan gedaan en het besluit genomen om toch te gaan, maar dan met twee auto’s zodat Marjolein en ik terug kunnen als het niet gaat. Best wel spannend. We hebben een staanplaats en zien een prima concert van Marco. Hij is echt goed! Knap dat hij zo snel na zijn operatie terug is. Echt een leuke goede zanger, prima band en wat is het genieten zo. Gevoelige liedjes die tekstueel toch wel in een ander daglicht komen te staan. Afscheid nemen bestaat niet. Tja laten we dat dan ook maar niet doen.


Na de pauze voel ik me minder. Begin te zweten en wil naar buiten. Oeps vergeten dat we daarvoor de lange trap op moeten lopen en traplopen kost me zo ontzettend veel moeite. Halverwege moet ik buiten adem gaan zitten en wordt het even zwart voor mijn ogen. Marjolein en de bewaking helpen me naar de foyer.  Na een glas water gaat het weer en zien we de show vanaf 2 zitplaatsen achterin de zaal. Echt wel genoten, maar dit was duidelijk “over de top”.  Accepteren maar en voortaan rustiger aan doen.
Hoop op een derde concert als ik weer beter ben 😉

  1. I’m sure Starbucks main goal here is to A) make money off of the tumblers and B) save money on paper cups, but hey, thats business. In the end it is still a step in the right direction, as it would cut down on paper cups. Any business or company who decides to “go green” is ultimately doing it for their own good, not for the good of the world. But if their efforts really do lead to a positive change, then I think it is still a good thing. To me, greenwashing is trying to profit off of perceived green benefits when in reality there aren’t any, so does this example really qualify as granhwesnieg?

John,As far as needing ETOPs for the package "B" Trents I'm not sure about that and I think that is something between RR, Boeing and the FAA (also with GE whenthey roll out their PIP changes for GEnx). My gut feel is probably not but it is all up to the FAA.With regards to your second question, remember that the 300 hours are for F&R testing not ETOPS. ETOPs certification is done based on test points accomplished and not flight hours flown so it won't take 300 flight hours for ETOPS 330 but a few flights to validate the reauired FAA test points.

I have had much success with Google Adwords Express however. There are so many I.T. or advertising firms who want the wedding professionals business via the web.
