Trombo’s 94 (was 70)
Infectiewaarde 48 (was 89)
Kalium te hoog 5.8 (later op de dag in orde dankzij insuline en glucose)
(in de avond weer te hoog).
Gesprek met hematoloog en intensivist
Uitslagen onderzoeken:
CT-scan: longen zien er beter uit dan 2 weken terug.
Bronchoscopie: de kweken verklaren niet de oorzaak van de ademhalingsproblemen, de steeds terugkerende verhoging, het ziekzijn.
Darmonderzoek: er zijn kleine stukjes in de darmen die wijzen op afstoting, maar verder zijn er geen afstotingsverschijnselen. Dat zou te zien kunnen zijn aan vlekken op de huid en afwijkende leverwaarden, daar heeft Dolf gelukkig geen last van. De afstoting in de darmen hoeft nog niet behandeld te worden.
Het blijft een raadsel, waarom Dolf steeds opnieuw koorts krijgt. Zodra Dolf koorts krijgt, wordt hij heel ziek en gaan zijn ademhaling en hartslag ook weer verkeerd. Er zal nu ook getest worden op tuberculose, maar dan moet er al langere tijd geen antibiotica gegeven zijn, dus die test moet nog even wachten.
Wat kan er aan de hand zijn? Wat is de oorzaak van de steeds opnieuw optredende koorts?
Er worden opnieuw vragen gesteld: hebben we huisdieren, contact met zieke mensen, die hem besmet kunnen hebben, is Dolf onlangs in een oerwoud geweest (tropische ziekten) ? We peinzen ons suf.
Voorlopig worden de antibiotica niet gestopt, om een volgende terugval te voorkomen…
Bloedwaarden daling
De grote daling van de bloedwaarden eerder deze week kan misschien verklaard worden door de werking van medicijnen. Hier is geen zekerheid over. Het is wel fijn, dat ze nu weer stijgen.
SLAAPMEDICATIE EERST GEMINDERD, IN DE MIDDAG STOPGEZET
Dolf kan weer wakker worden. Hopelijk blijft de ademhaling dan net zo rustig als nu hij slaapt.
Het tempo is wel te regelen met medicijnen, maar het zou fijn zijn, als dat niet nodig is.
Vanavond heeft hij een aantal keer zijn ogen even opengedaan. Hij reageert als we hem aanspreken, maar kan zijn ogen niet lang openhouden. Er zit nog veel slaapmedicatie in zijn bloed. Zoals in eerdere perioden, vlak na het ontwaken op de IC, geeft hij door het ophalen van zijn “wenkbrauwen* ” aan, dat hij het ermee eens is. Ook kan hij in je hand knijpen. Fijn, dat hij weer een beetje wakker is. Hopelijk heeft hij niet te veel last van verwardheid.
* We dachten, dat het niet (meer) zou gebeuren, maar de chemo heeft deze week alsnog Dolf’s wenkbrauwen en wimpers laten uitvallen.

Do you know if the site can be configured to show the pace (min/mile) instead?Also I wonder if the FusedSpeed helps in any way to measure distance on mountain trails with a lot of switchbacks. My Garmin watch seems to be “cutting corners” on forested trails and ends up measuring less than the actual distance. I wonder if Ambit works better in this situation?Thanks, Stan.
